I am running a gaming PC, i7 920 processor with 3x2 gB of CL8 DDR3-12800 RAM (8-9-8-20). I am going to expand it, and I found, for the same price, either 2x4 gb CL8 or 3x4 gb CL9 (9-9-9-24). Would the difference in CAS latency spoil the expansion? or should I go for "the more the merrier" and get 12 Gb of slower RAM ?
And no, I cant find the same RAM I originally installed.
Thanks in advance
