Based on my many years of building highend PCs I would recommend a Gigabyte mobo for performance and reliability. If you're buying a new AMD mobo now, I would recommend a socket AM3+ so that you can upgrade to Bulldozer in the future. The 900 series AMD chipsets are designed for Bulldozer CPUs but your X4 955 will run just fine on it.

Since you are looking to run Crossfire I recommend the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 as it is the least expensive Gigabyte 990 series mobo with two X16 PCI-E sockets for Crossfire.
