Can t find the source file on disk

Hello,
I am trying to move a movie file back to my c drive that I stored on my d drive. I cut or copy and try to paste it but it gets halfway through and nessage comes up about not being able to find the source file. I can go in and play the movie and watch it on media player and I can move other files in the same asrea. Please help

Make sure it's not playing when you are trying to move it.

No it is not playing when i try to move it. I had it in a folder with others and tried to move the whole folder. All moved across but this one.

Is it corrupted? The corrupted file always can cause some strange problems. You can still open it normally?
