Why wouldn't it ?
There are many reviews showing that in the right PC configuration it works very well.
AMD
Athlon( II X2 245 (stock cooling)
motherboard-gigabye GA-MA785GMT-UD2H
video card-xfx radeon 5770
ram-4 gigs DDR3 1066
If thats your current config, your cpu would bottleneck dual 5770's and I would not go that route.

it is i would replace that cpu with a phenom x4 955 or 965 though.
