I have an Agility 3 SSD 60GB. Before reinstalling windows, I was getting a write speed in Crystaldiskmark of about 250-300MB/s easily. Now, after reinstalling, it runs just shy of 70MB/s.

What gives?

Win7 x64
16GB Corsair Vengeance ddr3 1600
Geforce 9800GTX+
ASUS P8Z77-V LK

Are you sure you did not benchmark with ATTO?
CrystalDiskMark uses highly incompressible data to test Read/Write speeds.

The 60GB Agility 3 has a maximum Write speed of 65MB/s using incompressible data (with AS-SSD software).

Here's the link to the spec sheet for your drive: http://www.ocztechnology.com/res/manuals/OCZ_Agility3_Product_sheet.pdf

Huh. Interesting.

I knew there was a huge gap between compressible and incompressible data. I just remember getting those numbers in CrystalDiskMark.

In Atto, I believe I used to get about 500 and 450 in read and write, respectively.

So perhaps there was a glitch of sorts before, and NOW it's running as it's supposed to.

Most probably you need to update your firmware driver.

I'm running the 2.22 firmware currently, with the speed fix OFF.
