Cant transfer file

Hi, I put a movie file from my Cdrive to Ddrive so as to save space on my c. I went to transfer it back abd it wont do it. It will play on media player but when I cut and paste it gets half way through and says it can't read the source file or disk and do I want to try again. Strange thing is I can transfer the rest of the movie files in the samr folder but not this one. Hope you can help as it is part of a series that I am wanting to keep on DVD

Make sure it isn't actually playing when you are trying to move it.
