Hello,i want to upgrade my processor and I am using intel D946GZIS motherboard. What is the best processor i can use? Is that support intel dual core 2.7 E5400?

It says i can use dual core 2GHz E1400.. or Core2duo E6700.. That means i can't use any other type of dual core processor such as E5400.. I think E1400 is not available anymore...

Well since it has an LGA775 socket it should support any LGA775 processor.

Your case has a cut out for a backplate to be installed, so you SHOULD be fine installing...
