Planning to but a video card... questions...

so, I decided that I want a better performance than my integrated card can give me. my specs are:

Lenovo 8706-AJ6
E4500 Core 2 duo @2.2 GHZ
2GB DDR2 ram
Vista home premium

I got an HD5570... but apparently it won't work on my computer... it got this 4*2*3*3 beep code before post.. anyway, im thinking of a HD 4670 or an 220 or something along those lines that can get me to play games like HAWX COD 6 and maybe GTA 4?
and I need a low profile ones... or else it won't fit in my comp.... thx

OK, firstly what power supply do you have, secondly no matter what graphics card you get you wont be able to play gta4 really well since it plays poorly on dual core

anyway, if your psu is over 500 watts and has a pcie 6 pin then yu can get a gts 250 low profile:

ahh I got a 350W psu without a 6 pin so I don't think that Ican run a 250

You MAY be able to get a 5670, it's the best option you will have cause of low profile/price/power restrictions and your CPU shouldn't bottleneck it IMO, however when playing hawx etc you will only get 30 or so fps depending on your resolution...

thx for the reply... but apparently there is this rumor that all HD5XXX series won't work on the current think center/ think station models... (and The 5570 I bought didnt work...) so just tryin to play on the safe side... got any hd 4XXX series or other or Nvidia card that will be decent for gaming considering my limitation on size and stuff ?? thz
