Problem burning videos with Realplayer

Disc is not writable with realplayer

I use a blank Maxwell dvd-r disc and I want to burn it I do get : "error disc not writable" I use a portable Acer with windows 7 and do get the same problem with my HP pc with Vista ... Thank you to help me out on this Claude L.

Try to use ImgBurn or CDBurnerXP or something else and see if the issue is still there.

I never liked Realplayer. I suggest you get rid of it, use VLC or Media Player Classic to play your files, and use CDBurner XP for your disc burning.

I used Realplayer long time ago, once, but I still remember how it was nagging me for all kind of things and it kept changing file associations.... Grrrr : )

claudelh, is there any specific reason why are u using the Realplayer? Just curious.

What Disc is not writeable , d/l to a cdrw or cdr ?

If so, insert the media and see if it has valid file type.
