Does the gtx 460 need to be SLIed to get physx?

I have heard that you need to SLI a gtx 460 and somthing else to get physx with a gtx 460, but it says on the side of the box that it has physx. Does the gtx 460 have physx, and if so do i need to SLI it to get physx?

The Nvidia control panel has a PhysX tab that will allow you to set either the GTX460 or your CPU as the PhysX processor. Leave it to "Auto (recommended)" or actually designate the GTX460 for PhysX. Either way, you will be able to have the graphics card perform both graphics and PhysX (at a ~25% cost of fps).

Yes, the dedicated PhysX card will replace the lost fps, which can be around a 25% decrease if a single card does both graphics and PhysX. I play Unreal Tournament III with PhysX on, and I love it when you destroy something and all this debris goes flying around. It also adds a lot more "splat" when you frag an opponent.
