Hello,
I currently own the following laptop..

http://www.okobe.co.uk/ws/product/Acer+Aspire+8930G+864G64BN+Laptop+18.4+Core+2+Duo+P8600+2.4+GHz+4GB+RAM+DDR2+SDRAM+320GB+HDD+with+Microsoft+Windows+Vista+Home+Premium/1000008157?ref=1q4bs

although it says it is ddr2 ram on there it is actually ddr3 ram.

ive noticed it is struggling to play the latest games, i have been thinking of upgrading my processor to an i3 or i5 but im not sure if its possible and also wondered if it is worth upgrading my graphics card or not? or maybe something else?

im not all that clued up on computers

any advice?

thanks, Pete.

You cannot upgrade to an i3 or i5 as they go in a totally different socket it is also very unlikely you can upgrade the graphics card. Apart from adding ram or a larger hard drive laptops are rarely worth (in most cases impossible) upgrading and never unless you know what you are doing.
