Enough room?

I am building a computer and i was wondering will my cpu cooler fit in my case, my case is the nzxt tempest and the cooler is noctua NH-U12P SE2, if it helps at all this is my motherboard. asus m4a87td usb3.0

This is actually the same heat sink that I use for my i5. My guess is that it will fit, but it will be a very close fit. You might have to take out a fan because it is big, and you'll only have about a 1/8" in between the top of the heat sink and the case.

It fits my case and I have a mid size tower so I think you'll be fine.

well the tempest is 211.5mm while the noctua is 158mm but i gotta take into account the motherboard, standoffs, bracket, and the space between behind the motherboard for cable managment.
i dont know how much room this will take up cause this is the first time for me building my own computer
