I'd go for one of Microsoft's options.

It will take some getting used to, but once you do, you'll love it. The keys are definately a little bit smaller than your standard gaming keyboard, but the quality more than makes up for it. I'm using it right now, and I can say that the Red LED backlighting is absolutely awesome. It doesn't look like an all-out gaming keyboard which is nice, but the only thing I can say is that it isn't really made for people with huge hands. If that's you, I'd suggest the x6 over it.

I've never used it personally, but I've heard it's also an awesome keyboard overall. It's definitely bigger and more feature-packed, and the number pad is detachable for when you don't need it.

If you have small to average sized hands, then by all means, try out the x4. If you have large hands or a need for excessive macros, I'd go for the x6. Both are quality keyboards.

how is it for typing i type very fast, do the keys always register?

Can't help you there bud i type with one finger lol!
Two when i'm feeling lucky!
The keys register better then most kb's i have.
3 levels of led brightness and it's also quieter then my G110 and Lycosa.
Key profile is lower then the full sized G110 keys and a little higher then the Lycosa which are basically flush.
Btw the G110 has three colour options including red, usb, and headset something the X4 AND X6 lack.
