I am just starting to get into video editing, in High Definition. I have Intel Core Duo MHz procssor, lots of harddisk, Windows 7 32 bit with 2GB DDR3 memory. Video editing SW is Pinacle Studio 14 Ultimate. Graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 4550 [Display adapter] and I have ahigh resolution DELL U2711 [Monitor]. Mother board is ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5Q-PRO.
The video editing goes fine, but takes "ages" to process. To process 50minutes HD video film takes many hours. I would like to increrase the performance - where do you think is the bottelneck? Which parts ofmy PC configuration should be ugraded?
