$800-$850 gaming build - please provide feedback!

Please help me! I know enough to be dangerous, but I know that I have a lot to learn still.

I would prefer to spend $800 or less. If forced, like this example, I could do $850 at the outside highest. I have tried to min/max this to be able to run games well... I have lots of questions!

1) Will these components work together? Am I forgeting something? I have a HD tv (need hdmi interface), I have a mouse and a keyboard.
2) Can you improve performance/find bottle necks in the performance?
3) Can you get the price down without losing too much performance compared to where it is at right now?
