I just built my first PC. I've checked all internal connections, which seem to be properly set, but I keep encountering an issue when trying to boot for the first time. After powering the PC on it powers momentarily, shuts down, and starts back up. I have noticed the DRAM_LED on my motherboard is remaining lit, so this is to me undoubtedly an issue with my RAM.

Setup:

i5 2500K
Asus P8Z68-V
G.Skill F3 DDR3-1600 12GB (4x3)

All of my parts are brand new, did I get some bad sticks? How can I verify this?

Take out the ram sticks and reseat them , you want to make sure they are in all the way. When you said 4x3 do you have 4 sticks at 3gb each. Also if you suspect bad ram sticks then take them all out and put back one in the A-1 slot and try to boot , do this with each one to see if they all work , making sure you put in one at a time.
