Hi, i really don't know where to post this so here it goes.

I used to have:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz
Asus P5QL Pro
Kingston 2x1024 Dual DDR2 1066
Asus GTX 460 TOP Direct CU 1Gb GDDR5
Samsung F3 1Tb
Antec Truepower 750w
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

No overclocks (only changed the frequency of the memory in the BIOS to 1066 cuz it showed 800) and in 3DMark Vantage it toped at P17100 +/-

Now i've changed to

Intel I5 2500K 3.30Ghz
Asus P8P67
GSkill 2x2048Mb DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600) CL9 RipJaws X
Asus GTX 460 TOP Direct CU 1Gb GDDR5
Samsung F3 1Tb
Antec Truepower 750w
Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

and in 3DMark Vantage it toped at P18500+/-.

Is it ok, only ~1500 points increase?

I havent changed a thing in the Bios, don't know if it affects but i guess the CPU is downclocking, in CPUZ it shows Core Speed at ~1600.

Don't know if its that or something else, or if its supposed to have only 1500 points increased from that E8400.

So in Games will i have +/- the same performance as with my old system.

3D Mark is more biased towards your GPU than your CPU. It is also not necessarily a reliable indicator of actual gaming performance. Try playing and see what happens.

Thank you, will do as soon as i get home, (at work right now) and one more thing, should i use Win 7 ultimate 32 or 64bit with this system?

No reason to use 32bit any longer, 64 should be your default option. Especially since you have 4GB of RAM installed.
