E7500 & GTX460

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz
Motherboard: Asus P5QPL-VM EPU
Memory: OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum 4GB Edition Dual Channel
Graphics: Gigabyte HD 4850 512MB GDDR3
PSU: OCZ Z Series 650 Watt
Monitor: LG W2753VC-PF
OS: Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

CPU: At 3.76 Ghz
Memory: Timings at 4-4-4-10 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
GPU: GPU clock at 740 Mhz, Memory clock at 1120 Mhz

So I am going to upgrade my GPU from my current one (Gigabyte HD 4850 512MB GDDR3) to PNY GTX 460 1024MB PCIe and I was wondering if my CPU would bottleneck my new GPU also that's the best o/c that could be done to my CPU and RAM.

  1. At that overclock I dont think bottlenecking will be a problem. Dont forget to remove the old ATI drivers before installing
  2. Easy reply.... NO IT WONT xD jajajaj
  3. 3.76GHz is just too high i think, you will be fine with 3.5GHz, any speed above that wouldn't make different.

Anyway, your cpu won't bottleneck GTX460. Enjoy that card and happy gaming... :)
