what are the low and high temps for amd phenom ii x4 940 i want to set
a programme to warn if the temps are too high but need to know what they are anyone help please

There is really no minimum temperature except maybe the freezing point or something. The max you should have your CPU constantly is about 90C. Programs like Everest can monitor the temperature.

the max temp is 60C i think , but it is different from one another

the max temp for an AMD CPU is about 62C and i recommend not going over 55C because over that temp you are losing more and more stability.

Oh, wow. I guess I had my AMD 6400+ running 30C over the safe limit. I wonder how it never died in the two years I had it. Nevermind then.

My AMD CPU can go to 73C. Maybe his can go that high too.

maybe it can but its for sure not a healthy temp.

Not all AMD CPUs have had the same max temp, some of the older ones were higher, the one in my laptop is rated for super high so you really cant compare the max temp of an Athlon 6400+ to a Phenom II
