Hi,
i recently bought a 1tb Western Digital Caviar Black HDD. when i installed it and booted up windows it showed up fine in disk management as unallocated space, so i began formatting it. However during this process i accidently hit the rest button. When the computer rebooted i checked disk management, however the hdd no longer shows up; it also doesnt show up in the bios.
It does however appear in intel rapid storage technology, but is stated as unknown and 0gb.
Does anyone know how this can be fixed? or do i need to just send the HDD back?
