Where to buy rear I/O panel bracket

Anyone know a good place to buy a rear i/o panel bracket from? I bought an open box mobo from newegg and it didn't have this piece. Is it vital to even have it?

More about where rear panel bracket
  1. you can live without it, I'd say have one though if you can
other than maybe contacting the manufacturer, ebay or similar might throw one up cheap :)
post your mobo in the thread, possibly a member has what you need.
  2. Thanks I will try ebay. I used to frequent there but its been a few years now. I bought the ASUS M4A785-M mobo. It fired right up when I installed it in my mom's PC. I was a little worried as this was the first time I bought an open box item from newegg and so far so good. I understood when the description said they don't guarantee the inclusion of all accesories but I didn't think it would come with NOTHING lol
  3. If its a returned/refurbished item from a previous customer, chances are they kept it when they Rma'd the board along with any sata leads etc,
Ebay threw http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ASUS-I-O-IO-Back-Plate-Shield-Port-Panel-M4A785-M-Mobo-/200532804184?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb0afc258 but I'm sure you can find it cheaper:)
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ASUS-I-O-IO-SHIELD-M4A785-M-M4A785T-M-M4A78L-M-83-/300443162417?pt=Motherboards&hash=item45f3ced731 $1 off, keep searching, you'll find a bargain :P
  4. Thanks for looking that up for me. That is the same one I found. I made an offer for $10. $15.99 seems a bit steep for a small piece of aluminum lol
  5. no problem man, glad to have been of some help :)
