More about will mobo support tower enough
  1. Links do not work!
  2. sorry, this was pasted from an old forum
  3. Can you list the hardware or fix the links? (you can edit the first post)
  4. fixed
  5. Get this ram instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231274 saves money to go for this PSU which is high quality and stronger although its rating is not as high http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094 (it is a true rating)
Other than that all looks good.
  6. To save some more money just get the 955BE!
  7. howbout this ram? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231223
i think its a bad idea to only get 4 gigs for gaming if u want it to last.
i accept the PSU, looks great.
  8. Triple channel kits are for LGA1366. You will need a dual channel kit and 4gb is plenty for gaming. You can always add another 4gb kit later when needed. Video editing and 3d rendering would need more ram.
  9. what is lga1366?
  10. oh its a mobo, what difference does it make? if ive got 4 ram ports that can all support my ram?
wait, do all ram ports support 1333?
  11. Intel's top end socket for I7 9xx series.
  12. im using amd i cant use lga1366

You have a option of setting your ram up in dual channel with a equal amount of same size sticks per channel. (you have two) This will be faster than more ram in single channel which will happen with 1 or 3 sticks installed. Your motherboard supports 1333MHz
  14. so ur sayin its better to get 2 sticks of gigs than 3 sticks? sounds like bs

sorry im really confused, ive been in bed all day from the flu
  15. No problem but ram in dual channel increases the bandwidth so it is faster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual-channel
  16. sorry im watching a building video on youtube :)
how do i know if my mobo has 3 ports for my fans?
  17. but if my motherboard enables dual channel, cant i do that with my first two sticks, and have the third work on its own?

i dont know if i should push the money any further wih the 955BE, im already pushing it by not getting 6 cores
  18. 6 cores alone will not help with gaming. There is only X6 1100T that is faster than the 955BE so X4 is the better choice. The 955BE can easily reach the speed of the 965BE with a simple increase in multiplier. Only if you have 2 or 4 sticks will the ram run in dual channel the 3 stick will put all the ram in single channel.
  19. so if theres 3 sticks none of them can dualchannel?

No they cant it is either all the ram or none in dual channel.
  21. ok i get it,
will it really be 2GB more powerfull?
  22. alright i got the 4 gigs.
i dont think i should overclock tho because i dont want to light my machine on fire
