Computer wont start up after compleat shut down

specs just so those that help can get an idea and this is also my first build

Asrock 890gx extreme 3

amd phenom iix4

onboard graphics

ok so here is my only problem with the system at this point, after a regular shut down or a hard shut down it makes no diff, the computer wont post by just hitting the power button. the fans turn on and it seems like its on but no post. my only remedy ive found for this is to either unplug and pres f2 for bios when i first turn it on, or just press the restart button.

so if anyone can tell me what i can do to fix that problem i would really apreciate it thanks for the support.

Hello and welcome to THG.

Make sure you have your BIOS automatically start your HDD when it has POST'ed.

Also, make sure you have the latest BIOS. It may seem a part is not compatible.

well it might be a bios thing but it works fine i just i just have to press the restart button and i really am haveing problems updating bios through asrock could i use another companys bois and if so what would u suggest

You could actually. All a BIOS is, is a firmware device used to identify, scan and implement Software to hardware checks and communication. Think of it like the transmittion of your car.
