Agreed with above, though at that price point you'll want to wait (a couple of weeks) for the 6970.

Your 15.6 RPM Drive is SCSI or SAS or whatever they call it now, I don't think it will work with your mobo. At this price point, you'll want to go straight SSD for games anyway.

Not sure how heavy you are into video editing, etc, but I wouldn't think that you would need 4 gigs or RAM per core. What programs do you edit in?
