Dose 9400GT good to set as a physx card?

hi

i have 9400GT 1GB and i want to know is it good to use as physx card?so HD5870 is my main Card.

Since you already have it then use it... :) 

But seriously, i think a single HD5870 is more than enough for you, no need PhysX card.

well, if he is playing phyysx games it may be of use. better than nothing? dont know, never used physx...

Like wa1 said,if you already have it then use it.Few games like Mafia 2 will benefit from it(however the performance is lower compared to when you don't use PhysX)

but it have just 16 cuda core.is it enough for game like mafia2 or batman?
if i set it as physx it just calculate physx(no simulation and so on?)

9400 gt is too weak to use as a physx card. Also it is not recommended to pair nvidia with ati cards!

I don't agree with the second part of your statement.
There is no problem running an ATI card as a primary one and a Nvidia one for PhysX.

The minimum 9 series card on the list of cards that can be used as PhysX processor is a 9500GT.

I don't know exactly when it was dropped but I do know that a few things got changed around a little while ago.
