Average speed of a Marvel or ASMedia SATAIII Chipset? Tags: Chipsets Sata Storage darkspartenwarrior February 15, 2013 2:52:51 AM I know the native are around 4.8GB/s max and LSi/Arcea are anywhere around 4-4.5 depending on the model bought. But what are the speeds provided by Marvel/ASMedia PCIe SATA controllers, I've heard some are even slower than native SATAII. Thanks.
