Can my PSU handle the AMD Phenom II 955 BE

It should handle it with no problems whatsoever.I have a similar setup ,but my psu is 380w,but if you can find the exact psu product specs I can give you a more definitive answer.

The 5670 recommends a 400W, that usually factors in a high consumption from other components, which you do not have. The 955 is a 125W peak CPU, which isn't much considering there were many 140W CPU's out last year. If your current PSU is powering the system with the 5670 in it now, it shouldn't be a problem. I recommend that you take the PSU out of the case and give it a good cleaning with a can of compressed air while your replacing the CPU.

Thanks guys.I just cleaned the whole case including the PSU,but i've got a problem now,the fan from the old CPU is noisier than before   What should i do??I installed him correctly just like i always do after clening the case  

OOOPs it was the psu which made those sounds   It's OK now,i repaired it....

The PSU is fine,the fan wasn't placed correctly...

I will change it but not now.I don't have the money for a new one at the moment.I was only asking if my old PSU can handle the processor till then.
