New and Old put into play

Last response: in Systems

Hi all, Im thinking about keeping some components from my actual system and upgrade mobo, cpu, ram, gpu and hard drive. The final configuration could end something like this:

OLD COMPONENTS:
Case Antec p180
Power Supply Corsair HX620W
Display ViewSonic VX2025WM 20” (1680x1050)
GPU 8800GTX (for physx? Im worried about heat/noise of 470+8800GTX)
HD WD Caviar Green 1tb SataII + WD Raptor 74 SataI (both for storage)
Sound Card Audigy 2 ZS

NEW COMPONENTS:
CPU i5 760
MOBO Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3
RAM G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 4GB L7-8-7-24
GPU Asus GeForce GTX 470
HD WD Caviar Black 640GB SATA3 (for OS)

What do u think about the mix? would u change anything? Im looking for a well balanced/performance system.I dont plan to Oc (at least nor my primary goal) or SLI. I will use it for gaming.Any opinions would be appreciated a lot.

Thanks!

Get the Samsung Spinpoint F3 500 or 1T. This month AMD will release the new HD 69xx cards, I think your should wait for those but for your monitor resolution the 470 is overkill already, a HD 6850 or a GTX 460 is fine.

The GTX 470 is slightly better but has a much bigger power consumption than the 6870, also it's hotter. I'm pretty sure that by the time you go full HD any of those cards will be fine.
