So this is my first ever computer build so I may have missed anything at all while setting it up.

I put together my computer. I installed Windows 7 on a SDD. I am now looking to add my 3tb HDD to this set up. The Bios detects the drive under SATA, My device Manager Detects it under disk drives.

The only problem is, is that my computer doesn't allow me to see it or store anything onto it. It's just not there when I click "computer"

Anyone got any pointers or things I could try?

Have a look in Disk Management as the drive may just need a letter assigning to it:

Start > Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

in the bottom-right panel, see if you can find the ribbon which represents your HDD. It will have no drive-letter, no name, and will probably be labelled as "Raw".

Right-click this ribbon and choose "Change Drive Letter & Paths".
Click "Add".
Choose a letter.
Click 'OK' and wait a few seconds.
