Anyone have an idea how hard it would be to build one of these? Or suggestions for mods? Ideas on cost to build?

It is a Ubuntu Server built by an Indonesian company called Okusi Computers and presently sold for about $2200.

 
It's one question to build if from parts (probably not too much above $1000), another question to just install the software (10.04 is quite old even for LTS, there is 12.04 LTS), and yet another question to configure it for your needs.

And final question is how strong you do feel in all these areas to do it by yourselves, or pay the asking price (which probably comes with support as well)
