Will either of these two CPU's be able to handle WoW in Eyefinity

Will either of these two CPU's be able to handle WoW in Eyefinity when coupled with a decent GPU?

I'm currently sporting a Gateway DX4720-03 with a GForce 9500GT.

Intel Pentium dual-core E5200 2.5GHz
4GB DDR2 800
Asus Gateway DX4720 MSI NVIDIA® MS-7399 motherboard

Before WoW started upgrading I was getting a steady 60FPS but now that has dropped to around 40 and it often dips lower. And I want to add a third monitor so I can play in Eyefinity.

I can't upgrade my memory as the mobo supports a max 4GB. But I can upgrade my CPU and GPU. The graphics card I am thinking of going with is the GIGABYTE GV-R685D5-1GD Radeon HD 6850

Radeon HD 6850
960 Stream Processing Units
1000MHz (4.0Gbps)

And there are two cpu's I'm looking at that are both the same price. One is a quad core and one is a dual core. Which one will be better for WoW in Eyefinity or are neither of them adequate? I'll probably only own this build for another year and then I'll step up to a more manly computer.

Contendor 1
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache

Contendor 2
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Yorkfield 2.66GHz 4MB L2 Cache

Contendor 3 (I can't really afford contendor 3 unless it is absolutely necessary)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9505 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 6MB L2 Cache

One last thing is I'm pretty sure my mobo does not allow overclocking of any type.

More about will handle eyefinity
  1. Maybe go with a quad but I have heard people having probs with Ocing it. The e8400 will OC like a madman. I was running my old 8400 at 4.2 water cooled finally made the jump to an I7 930 Oced to 4.5..
  2. Can't OC on my mobo. Its a Gateway
