Ide to sata adapter

I have an IDE duplicator and bought 5 sata dvd-rw for it. I also purchased 5 Bi-Directional IDE to SATA or SATA to IDE Adapter. they look like this http://images.meritline.com/images/product/4/0/0/-/3/micro/400-379_2_.jpg . it comes with the 4pin molex to give power to the adapter. there is no power cable for the sata drive. the light comes on the adapter but no power to the sata dvd-rw. do I have to have seperate power plugs for the adapter and sata drive?
