Does windows update take care of motherboard drivers?

I just finished building a new computer with a Biostar TZ68A+ motherboard. I didn't install any drivers from the supplied disc, but instead just did the full array of windows updates. Everything seems to work fine.

Should I assume that Windows Update included the latest motherboard drivers from Biostar, or do I still need to download the lastest mobo drivers from Biostar's website?

Thanks

windows comes with generic drivers that work decent but dont always support all the features. usb 3.0 for example.
its always best to go to the makers website, biostar in this case and get the most recent drivers. if its a feature you know you wont use dont bother downloading it. raid drivers in my case.
