Hi to all,
As owner of a Samsung X10 (Centrino M855 at 1.4 GHz), I'm about to upgrade
its 512 MB (2x Samsung 256MB DDR 2100) RAM to 768 MB or 1 GB.
Because the more expensive is not allways the better, I need your
well-informed advices to find the right ratio minimum troubles/what i can
afford
1) Does Centrino need both slots to be populate with exact same kind of
SODIMM components?
-> One or both actual 256 MB module wont be easy to sell off (though
Samsung modules).
2) "Certified" 512 MB modules cost quiet the same than 1 GB "value"
-> even if I buy PC2700/PC3200, they will be unusable in next generation
laptop I'll buy in 1/1.5 year (using DDR2?).
3) Among these brands with 0 = avoid / 1 = should be
OK / 2 = best choice
