Which Bios Version Run Perfectly in DG965RY

Hi guys,

i want to ask you that what version of bios of DG965ry has no issues and run perfectly?

right now i am using dg965ry with 4gb of RAM but my system is to much slow then 2gb of RAM which i was using.
What should i do for speed up my system according to 4gb RAM and which bios version should i installed?

What probem do you have that a BIOS upgrade will fix and what's the current version? The system won't be faster with 4 GB of RAM (3.2 GB available) unless memory utilzation currently exceeds 2 GB. Is the fastest supported CPU installed?

i have,
bios version: 1687 and ram 4gb (3.2), but system works very slow

Updating the BIOS shouldn't make it faster. Other than more RAM, what else has changed? Does the 4 GB memory kit have identical specs to the 2 GB kit?

i have total 4gb of ram, Kingston DDR-II, but my computer got too much slow..

What happens if you drop the memory to 2 GB? Is the memory running at the correct speed? If you decide to flash the BIOS, I recommend that you burn the file to a CD and then very carefully follow the procedure to flash it (move the jumper, etc.) as it's easy to brick that motherboard when flashing from the Windows utility.
