HD 4850 performance- sapphire brand

I am planning on purchasing this card from Sapphire.

Please tell me how is this card in performance, heat & temp.
I am getting this card for $110. my board is GA-MA 78GM-us2h
powersupply coolermaster -500 watt (real power)
Phenom 550 black edition Cpu

Is this deal good. because HD 5750 and HD 5770 are costly.

The 4850 performs the same as the 5750, You can play most games on it with high settings upto 1440x900 resolution.

well ... max res for always ultra high settings is only 1280x1024. Higher than that you probably will need to lower the settings in some games.

currently I play at 1078x764 resolution as i have HD 3450 crossfire with mother board IGP.

I am getting this HD 4850 512 mb from sappire dual slot at price i mentioned above.
Is it wise to purchase this card or should I spend more 30 -40 dollars to get 5750 or 5770.
I generall y want to play all popular games at medium setting with medium details. my screen is 20 inches.

Yes, for 20" monitor, HD4850 DDR3 512MB is enough to play any games recently with medium/high setting...

But what about the heat issue . any real problem with the brand which i am buying. is it good one then the other brand available.
or should i purchase 5750 to save temp and power.

HD4850 is about the same performance with HD5750 and yes, HD5750 is more cooler than HD4850. Well, if you can save a little bit then get that HD5750...

HD 5750 1 GB is slightly better than HD 4850 512 MB (about 7-10%) with price difference about 20-25%.

Yes, it will. Don't worry about it. Nowadays, many newer version of HD 4850s are cool enough. They are not the same as the reference one. My 4850 has idle temp 46 C and full load temp (furmark+MSI kombustor) 76 while my ambient temp is around 28-31 C and my case only has one 8 cm fan at the front and one 9 cm fan at the back with max speed 2500 RPM.
