I suspect my system has been hijacked and is mass emailing out junk. I have run quite a few spyware programs but they don't pick up anything of the ordinary and Norton's does not detect anything either. Task manager does not reveal that I am running any processes that I should be and nothing looks out of the ordinary in my registry. The symptons I experience are basically I can connect to my Broadband for a few minutes but upon switching websites, the suddenly refuse to load. Inspecting my connection, "Bytes sent" is is continously counting up at about 2Kb/s while whiles received increments in small amounts.

Is there any way I can view what is being sent when this happens ?
Is there anything I can use to trace what is causing this ?
Is there any way I can put a baseball bat to the persons head who created this problem ?

Please Help !

That definatly sounds like spyware traffic to me. Have you tried running spyware scans (I like adaware and spybot) from safemode?
You can see current activity by typing in netstat -a at a command prompt. Here is a list of other parameters for netstat if you want to mess with it more: netstat
