Can I connect a wifi router to work in the reverse function to convert a wifi network to a wired connection?

DSL Model -> WIFI Router - - - - - -> WIFI Router -> LAN -> PC....

Is that soomething I can buy or is it something that I need to configure off existing standard stuff?

It depends. Some routers can be converted to be a wireless bridge. Some can be loaded with DD-WRT firmware or you can buy one.
