Unlucky me got the i7 2600k Sandy Bridge in the mail today. I don't know much about computers and technology but I heard there's something wrong with the Sandy Bridge processors. So should I go ahead and use it or sell it on craigslist, because I got it from my cousin for $160 who works at Intel.

Solution
There is nothing wrong with the processors
Its the actual P67 chip sets that are the cause of the problem.
This is whyIntel is recalling the mobos

They all do
It's the SATA II ports
But you should have 4 SATA III ports on that board, so I guess you could use them for your HDD(s)
See if you can get a replacement board or if you can trade it in later down the line when they have fixed the problem.
