Why windows7 is telling me that my driver of nvdia gt8600 is not compatable with

i have downloaded driver for my nvdia gt8600 but when i install it windows 7 says that it not compatable with your hardware

Did you download the driver specifically for windows 7? If your windows is 64 bit, use 64 bit driver. If it is 32-bit, download 32-bit driver. If it doesn't work, download the driver from the primary manufacturer of your card (XFX, EVGA, or whatever it is).
