Vengeance 24GB Triple Channel DDR3 - used in AMD MoBo

Hello.

I have good opportunity to buy this memory set. But I use AMD MoBo with dual channel.
I want to ask - Can I use only 4 memory stick from 6 stick set (I want to put last two into my wife desktop) and do they will be works as Dual Channel or 4xSingle Channel?

Or just buy CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 (I can get in almost this same price like 24GB set)

4 should work in Dual no problem and the other 2 in dual in your wifes no problem.

I try to find answer in uncle |Google and find this - "Also, there's no such thing as a dual triple channel kit (or a triple channel kit for that matter). There is no such thing as Dual / Triple Channel memory, as this is a property of the memory controller in how it handles memory. This is why you can place memory in different slot configurations on a motherboard and it will register as single or dual or triple channel." - by Wired
And now I know what to do I think soon my wife get new 8gb of RAM

Correct it is all in the controller not in the modules themselves.
