Rd rambus memory

can i mix pair of 800-45 and 800-40 rdram memory in my computer.

Yes you "should" be able to. It should simply default to the lower speed (in this case PC800 @ 45 ns), but mixing memory is never guaranteed to work.

Also remember with RDRAM that you can't leave any slots open.
