I was unable to find the proper forum link for this post so I thought I would post under the PSU link.
I recently puchased an APC UPS and noticed the Building Wiring Fault Indicator LED is lit.
This UPS requires a 3 prong connection outlet (one grounding).
I dont have these outlets installed, but I do have an "adapter".
The "adapter" is a small grey plug-in that allows use of a 3 prong plug in a 2 plug socket.
Could the reason behind the LED being lit be that the socket is not properly grounded?
