Docking problem with Thinkpad T23

hi,


i'm having difficulity with my thinkpad's docking. i dock my machine
via a Replicator to a external monitor. whenever i undock the unit
from port replicator, the mouse stick stops functioning. i have to
restart the machine in order to get mouse stick back.

i have a windows 2000 pro / Xandros 3.0 Deluxe dual boot, and if i
undock the unit in Xandros 3.0, the screen went black altogether, and
no reponse from keyboard - even when i pressed power down button, so i
have to take out the machine battery and put back in to restart the
machine

any suggestions?
