hi

i bought the Seasonic M12II , its modular PSU

it looks like this:

http://content.hwigroup.net/images/products_larges/0983...

as you can see all the cables is choise connected

so i have 2 sata driver +2 IDE driver

i connected one Sata cable with 3 output , for the 2 sata drives

than i connected one cable with 3 IDE output, for 2 IDE drives

but i have 3 fans , which connect through the molex (like IDE) cable

so with the one left from the cable where the IDE drives on , i connected all the fans

i can connect them with another cable to the PSU but i prefer not ,

so its ok or its overload for one cable?

You arent going to overload the cable, they just usually only put 3 connectors per string to reduce clutter, it can support wayyy more, especially if they are just fans, fans draw very little power compared to most components. Its perfectly fine to daisy chain all your fans together, it will still draw less power than a high speed hard drive would.

Yes you can daisy chain as many fans as you like/can with the molex connectors.

ok

as i understand the psu doesnt limit the +3.3v & +5v per cable does it?

for the this kind PSU, can i connect unlimited drives, fan componets?

without reaching the combined load of the +3.3v& +5v ?

It will have a 3.3V and a 5V limit for the overall system, but fans, HDDs and ODDs all pull most if not all of their power from the 12V rails. I wont say you could connect unlimited drives and fans, but you can connect a lot without needing to worry.

ok

you mean also by cable

cause i mean if i connect all my drives include the sata fans and everything else

one same cable the psu still deliver the requierd power

so it doesnt allocate power per cable, right?
