Quick confirmation please is my gpu shot?

Having problems with a 8800 gts 320mb
Got a nv4_disp is in infinite loop error, was able to start in safe mode and removed drivers, able to start normally without drivers but once drivers for card are installed again it freezes up on boot. Also the whole time there has been these blue or yellow lines/dots vertically across the screen.
Pretty possitive its the card as I've plugged in a 3850 from a different computer and started up fine with no problems.
Just want to check if anyone knows any type of fixes or is the card just dead as it cant run with drivers installed and has the dots/dash vertical lines across the screen.

You could try the oven bake method but that card is so old now that pretty much anything would be a step up.
