Sidewinder x5 issues

Hello, i just got the Microsoft sindwinder x5 from a friend, i hooked it up to my pc and now when i hit the left click it double clicks,and there is no warranty on the mouse.

any Answer will help

Looks like you need to get another mouse. Also, don't trust your friend for hardware he has used.

Make sure the mouse properties are set up properly in control panel if you haven't checked.
