It is recommended to use 1.5volt memory with Sandy Bridge.

So is the Kingston memory no good for the I7 2600k? Because in a review I just read researching your statment. The guy said a I7 875k was a good cpu to use or any unlocked cpu. ????

The SB 'can' run 1.65v RAM, BUT it's not recommended and at least for Gaming faster RAM than DDR3-1600 adds no benefits. Therefore, I recommend DDR3-1600 CAS 8 or 9, 2x4GB @ 1.50v.

My favorites are the G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM which play well in double sets -> http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682... or Kingston KHX1600C9D3T1K2/8GX -> http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682...
