Hydravision Performance Issue

Hello,
When I activate and use ATI-AMD Hydravision, and I open an application which has child windows (such as Photoshop or 3dsMax) the child windows stay open on all (multiple) desktops, when I switch to a different desktop. The main application window disappears, as it is supposed to do, but not the child windows. Is there a way to keep this from happening? I cannot find anything in the Hydravision documentation or on the ATI-AMD web-site. This has continued through many versions oc ATI Control Catalyst updates, including the newest version (10.8).
