CPU for CAD, FE solving and gaming

Hey guys,

I was looking at getting the i7 950 for the purpose of doing CAD(NX and Inventor), FE solving(ABAQUS) and some gaming on the side.

I took a look at the new sandy bridge benchmarks and I'm wondering if it would be wise to wait for Intel to sort out their issue as opposed to getting the i7 950 now.

Thoughts?
